Mike Root Joins Form-A-Feed as Nutrition and Production Specialist

Mike Root of Fountain, MN joined the Form-A-Feed team as a Nutrition and Production Specialist in December 2017.
Root has 10 years of experience in the feed industry and is experienced in both beef and dairy nutrition. Prior to entering the feed business, he worked for John Deere selling agriculture equipment, and grew up in the dairy and beef industry. He spent many hours milking cows on his uncle’s dairy farm and mixing feed for his family’s feedlot.
In Root’s new position with Form-A-Feed, he will be working with dairy and beef producers in Southeastern Minnesota and Northeastern Iowa.
“It is such an honor to be working with everyone at Form-A-Feed,” Root explained. “I am looking forward to the many years to come with the company. I believe there is a great opportunity for Form-A-Feed to help producers in Southeastern Minnesota and Northeastern Iowa.”
