Form-A-Feed Raises $4,900 for Local Cancer Organizations with Employee 5K Run/Walk

On September 12, 2023, Form-A-Feed planned and hosted an employee 5K Run/Walk in Stewart, MN to support two local cancer organizations, Renville County Walk in the Park and the Hutchinson Health Cancer Center.
Form-A-Feed donated $100 to the cause for each runner or walker that completed the 5k. 39 Form-A-Feed employees crossed the 5K finish line, and several more employees volunteered to help at the event.
Including individual donations from Form-A-Feed employees, Form-A-Feed donated $2,450 to both the Renville County Walk in the Park and the Hutchinson Health Cancer Center, totaling $4,900 to support cancer.
Alison Rickeman, Form-A-Feed marketing coordinator, organized the 5K event along with the help of her Form-A-Feed teammates. “Cancer has affected the lives of several members of our Form-A-Feed family and their families. We wanted to create an event where we could give back to our community together and support our fellow Form-A-Feed employees and their family members who have been battling cancer.”
The Renville County Walk in the Park is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for cancer survivors including delivering blessing bags, reimbursing medical expenses, and donating to cancer research at the University of Minnesota.
