Form-A-Feed Donates 800 Easter Hams to Local Frontline Workers

Posted: April 2, 2021

Form-A-Feed has donated 800 Easter hams to local law enforcement agencies, fire departments and health care providers in Stewart, MN and the surrounding communities in the days leading up to Easter.  The hams were a gesture of gratitude and appreciation to frontline workers for their commitment of service to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The hams were presented as a gift certificate to be redeemed at CashWise in Hutchinson, MN.

“As we surpass the one-year mark of the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we reflect on the importance of community and how much we value being a part of this one,” Eric Nelson, President of Form-A-Feed wrote in a letter to the frontline workers. “We recognize your dedication to continuing to care for our employees and customers throughout the last year.  You have shown up each day when personally challenged with many curveballs COVID-19 has thrown at you. And for that, we thank you.

For the last 48 years, our employees have proudly supplied livestock producers with nutritious feed as well as services so they, in turn, can continue to produce quality meat and milk for their communities.  The uncertainty this pandemic created has caused us to reflect on the important part we all play in ensuring one another is taken care of.  From a sustainable food supply to medical care and personal safety, we are all reliant on one another.  It is important to Form-A-Feed to recognize the role we all play and to take this time to say thank you.”
