Form-A-Feed is thrilled to have two swine interns joining our team this summer! One of those interns is Lacey Hanson. We asked Lacey a few questions so you can get to know her:

Tell us a little about yourself: I grew up in Owatonna, MN. I did not grow up on a farm but I was very active in my local 4-H and FFA.

University attending: South Dakota State University

Major(s): Animal Science

What activities are you involved in on or off campus:? At SDSU, I am president of Sigma Alpha, judging coordinator for Little International, and the college of agricultural and biological sciences advocate.  Off campus, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.

What are you most excited about learning/doing in your internship with Form-A-Feed this summer? I am extremely excited for my internship with Form-A-Feed.  I have already learned so much in only a few short weeks. I am looking forward to the rest of the summer and learning much more!

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: I danced ballet for 17 years!

What is one thing on your bucket list? The number one thing on my bucket list is to backpack through Norway. I am very Norwegian and I would love to backpack through the areas where my ancestors originated.
